We invite you to join us this Christmas for this week's worship, with a special message of hope from our Senior Pastor, "The Story Continues."  Our worship was especially created with the understanding that while some of our listeners may experience this holiday season as  "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," as the song goes,  for others, it is the opposite, perhaps a very painful time.  Whether you are one full of joy, sorrow, or a combination this season, this worship is for you.

Our worship features special scripture of prophecy, and includes the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke, read by our leadership team.  Additionally, we offer inspiring special music by the duo Dean Phelps and Twana Harris, with Christmas favorites we've created for you to sing along with, if you'd like.  Beverly Heid provides the background music for our readings.
Today we also light the fourth advent candle,  If you have one at home, you may like to light yours while you follow along in scripture and music.

Our worship also includes a time of communion (breaking of the bread)--for which we extend the invitation given by Jesus Christ to all who would come.  If you would like to share with us in this time at the table that passes all boundaries of place, time, and walls, then we ask that you prepare a wafer, cracker, or bread and a drink, and we ask that our blessing will extend to where you are.  If you are unable to eat or drink, use a symbolic gesture or mental symbols of joining with us. Much of our ministry has been funded by our leadership team out of their own pockets and donated time.  However, we are growing beyond this and need help with expanding this ministry of crossing barriers and boundaries to share the good news of God's redeeming love.   It is a bit tricky for us, because we do not pass a typical offering plate like would be found in churches.  This means that we need your help all the more, in remembering DisciplesNet with your support and ideas.
