This week's worship has an upbeat, joyful tone, beginning with the opening tune of "Woke Up This Morning With My Mind Stayed on Jesus," sung by Dean Phelps. (The sound in the opening frames may be a little too soft to begin with, but don't worry, we raise the volume in time for people to join in singing.)
The worship continues to Rev. Bob Shaw's message, "The Bargain of a Lifetime," looking at the parables of Matthew 13:44-50 that show the joy that comes with discovering a life in Jesus Christ. Also contributing to the 30- minute worship are Deb Phelps offering communion meditation, and prayers by Richard Propes and Blanche Edwards.
The beautiful coastal photographs are the work of Dave Alexander of Emerald Coast Reflections (emeraldcoastreflections) and gratefully used with his permission for uplifting God's work in our worship videos. Somehow Dave is able to capture the treasure of God's majesty and a sense of the divine in nature like nobody else can.
