DisciplesNet Worship #52 brings the gift of guest preacher, Diane Spleth, holding up Jesus' parables to help us gain glimpses of God's kingdom (realm). To this worship Phoebe Spier once again shares her music with Dean Phelps backing her up on "As the Deer" and "More Precious Than Silver," and "Seek Ye First."
Also on this worship is a thank you and special prayer from Deb Phelps on behalf of those who had brought prayers and kindnesses during the recent illness and death of her mother, Ruth Adams. Ruth was an active contributor to DisciplesNet, regularly providing her gift of piano music, accompaniment, singing in the chorus, and serving as adviser, promoter, and encourager. A memorial fund has been set up at DisciplesNet in Ruth Adams' name, and the growing fund will be used to make special videos for persons in hospital, hospice, and their family members, and those who are suffering grief and can be uplifted by music and meditation of scripture.
