Greetings! Our theme for today’s worship is one of God’s care for us, looking at the Lord as our Shepherd (from Psalm 23) and Christ as the Good Shepherd that will lay down life for the sheep. Rev. Bob Shaw brings us our message about the Good Shepherd today.
In addition to the music of Audrey Borschel (My Shepherd will Supply my Need) and photos of sheep around the world, we take this opportunity to share a little about the studio sheep we have, ones that remind us of God’s care for each and every person, including all who are on the other side of the camera as we prepare worship.
More than just toys or symbols (although the children in the congregation seem particularly to like them), our DisciplesNet sheep work as constant reminders of God’s constant presence and care for us, and the call to look out for each other.
Along with other parts of our worship is a special gift, a prayer written by Tod Gobledale and read by his wife Ana. The Gobledales are ministers currently living in the United Kingdom, and no stranger to countries and continents across the world where they have served in Christ’s name to bring peace and compassion for all people.

We hope you will join us for this short time of worship (30 minutes), and will be blessed by participating, perhaps coming away with an abiding sense of the Good Shepherd’s presence through whatever challenges you have at this time.
