“Jesus Loves Me” DisciplesNet Children’s Video (10-28-11)

“Jesus Loves Me” is a 24-minute music, picture and scripture video for children of all ages. We created this video especially for children (and adults) who may be ill, injured, fearful, sad or troubled–including in hospital or hospice)–with the idea of bringing hope and assurance of God’s love and care. However, we believe that many will find moments of peace in this offering, which features a diversity of children and adults, nature scenes and footage of animals and scenery from around the world. Included are some moments of fun, as well as many scenes that provide good talking points for children about life and faith. Continue reading

7 x 7 Prayers for Peace, from DisciplesNet Church

Join us on this 9-minute guided prayer for peace and healing in the wake of violence and terrorism including, but not only the September 11 events in the USA. In our 7 x 7 prayers for peace, we light 7 candles, each directing us toward a particular prayer need. Each candle then offers 7 more prayers, drawing from Jesus’ instructions about forgiveness, 7 x 70 times. So we make steps toward that healing and forgiveness. Continue reading
