Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd." What does a shepherd do? [wait for answers]
Yes. A shepherd cares for the sheep. A shepherd makes sure that the sheep don't get themselves into trouble. A shepherd makes sure they have food and a safe place to stay.
Jesus is telling us that we are like the sheep and Jesus watches over us. When we are afraid or worried, we can be sure that Jesus is there with us to help us.
Let's talk to God about that.

God, we thank you that Jesus is with us, wherever we go. Help us remember that Jesus is there when we're feeling a afraid, or when we just need to know there is someone there with us. Help us remember that Jesus is there wherever we go and whatever we do.
We pray in Jesus' name.
