7-April-24 (John 20:19-31)

We have some other stories today of the disciples seeing Jesus after the resurrection. All of them were amazed. Some of them doubted and needed more proof. Thomas needed to actually touch Jesus in order to believe it.
Today we have to be content on seeing Jesus as other people act like Jesus. We see Jesus because people who follow Jesus live their lives in the way that Jesus did. They serve God and others and love others even when it's hard to do that.
Did you know that some people will only know who Jesus is because you live like that. Some people will only know who Jesus is because you show Jesus' love to them. That's a lot of responsibility so we need help to do that. We need God's help and we need the help of our parents, teachers, and other people who believe in God so we can be more like Jesus ourselves.
Let's talk to God about that.

God, we thank you for Jesus, who taught us a lot about you. We thank you that Jesus showed us who you are, especially by the way he treated others.
Help us to be like Jesus so other people will be able to know who he is because of how we act.
We pray in Jesus' name.
