10-March-24 (John 3:14-21)

Have you ever heard the word "condemn"? What do you think "condemn" means?
[wait for answers]
In today's gospel reading, we hear that God did not send Jesus into the world to condemn the world. In fact, God sent Jesus into the world to save it. Whew, what a relief, right?
God wants us not only to remember that God forgives us when we do things that aren't right, but God also wants us to do that for others; to forgive them, even when they do things that aren't right. What would the world be like if we were more forgiving?
Let's talk to God about that.

Prayer:

God, we thank you for sending us Jesus to show us your love and forgiveness. Thank you for letting us do our part by forgiving others as well. Help us to really forgive other people, even when it's hard to do that.
