1-Jan-25 (Matthew 25:31-40)

In today's story from the gospel, Jesus tells us one very important thing that we should be doing to show that we love God: He said that the people who know God are the ones that care for people, especially the people that don't get noticed by everyone else, the people in prison, the hungry, the poor.
Jesus says that when we treat them with love and respect it's as if we are treating Jesus with love and respect.
Let's pray about that.
God, we thank you for sending us Jesus to tell us about you and how much you love everyone. Help us to share your love, especially to the people who are forgotten by others.
We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
