Which do you think is stronger, a tree or a boulder? [Wait for answers]
I'm going to show you a picture and it may surprise you. [See picture at left]
This is a picture of a tree that started out small, but as it grew, over years and years, it split this boulder in two. Amazing, isn't it?
Jesus talked about something like that. He said if we had faith the size of a tiny seed, we would be able to move trees and boulders and even mountains. Now I don't think he was talking about actual real mountains here, but more about the things that get in the way and keep us from being the kinds of people God wants us to be.
If we have just a tiny amount of faith, nothing can stop us.

Let's pray about that.
God, we know that it's sometimes hard to do the things you want us to do but we want to do them and we don't want anything to keep us from doing them. Help us to have the faith we need so that nothing will keep us from sharing your love with other people and living in ways that you can be proud of us.
We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
