29-Oct-23 (Matthew 27:34-46)

Of all the things you should do, what do you think is the most important? What should you do first, most, and all the time?

When Jesus was asked that question, he said there were two things: First, love God with all your heart, soul, and strength. Second, love your neighbor. Why do you think Jesus thought these were so important?

So, no matter what else you do, love God and love others. Every day, you should be able to say, I've loved God today, and I've loved other people.
It might not be easy to love some other people, but it's the best thing we can do.
Let's talk to God about that.

God, we thank you for Jesus, who showed us how to love you and how to love others. When it's hard for us to do that, help us to come to you for help. Help us to remember how much you love us too.
