5-Jul-26 (Matthew 11:16-19, 25-30)

Have you ever been really tired and just want to lay down and sleep? [Wait for answers] Have you ever felt that way, not because of running or playing a lot? Have you every felt tired out because of a lot of things that are happening all at once and many of them are no fun at all? [wait again]
Sometimes life itself tires us out. Sometimes it feels like nothing is going right and we're upset and just tired of it.
Jesus said, "Come to me, all you that are weary and carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest." When we're feeling tired of life and nothing seems to be going right, we can talk to Jesus and Jesus will help us find a way to have hope and to get some rest.
Let's talk to God about that.

God, we thank you that you care for us, especially in those times when life is difficult and we're just tired of it. Help us to turn to you in those times. And, when we see someone else who's just worn out, help us to do like you do and find a way for them to get some rest and find some hope.
We pray in Jesus' name.
