15-Jun-25 (John 16:12-15)

I try really hard to remember important things, but sometimes I forget. Does that ever happen to you?
Jesus told his disciples a lot of really important things, most important was that God loves everyone and they needed to tell everyone that. He also said that God would send someone to help them remember all the important things he had said and done. Whew! What a relief that God will help us remember all that. Not only that, but this Holy Spirit person would also tell them (and us) all the new things we need to hear.
How does the Holy Spirit do that? For me, that happens mostly when I pray. As I pray, I often remember things that Jesus did and said that are just what I need to remember.
So remember that you can also ask God to send the Holy Spirit to you to help you remember what Jesus did and said and what you should do.

Let's pray about that.
God, we thank you that you send us your Holy Spirit to help us remember all the things we need to remember. Help us especially remember that you love everyone. Help us remember that and show that by loving the people who we meet.
Amen.
