14-Dec-25 (Matthew 11:2-11)

When Jesus wanted to answer John's questions about who he was and what he was about, he simply told John's disciples to "Tell John what you hear and see."
We know that the world has questions about who Jesus is and what the Church is about, and they will decide based on what they see and hear. Are people healed, especially from the scars in their soul that come from living in this world? Is the Good News proclaimed, especially to the poor? In word and in deeds?
In all that we are as the Church, all we say and all we do, we proclaim who we think Jesus is. Part of how we do that is by giving the church from our financial resources so that the work can be done, not only nearby, but also to the ends of the Earth.

God, who reaches out to us in all aspects of our lives, help us to reach out with the love and generosity you have shown us. Give us giving hearts that we can share who you are through who we are and what we do.
