24-May-26 (Acts 2:1-21)

Sometimes one event can be the start of something amazing. It happened with the Church and the coming of God's Sprit. It can also happen when we, as individuals or as a congregation, start living out the same acts of giving and care that happened in the early church. They were known not only for their care for each other, but for their care for the poor, the widows, the forgotten.
We do that through personally giving our time and effort. We also do that through others through the offerings that we give.
Please consider giving generously to the work of living out God's care in our world as the deacons come to collect our offering for today.

Please join me in a spirit of prayer.
God who comes to us in Spirt and in action, prompt us to give of ourselves that the world will know your love and care.
Bless these gifts as well, that they be put to good use in your work here and throughout the world.
