24-September-23 (Matthew 20:1-16)

The economics of Jesus are very different from the economics we encounter in the world around us. In the Church, our economics have one foot in the Realm of God and the other in our world. We have to pay in order to keep the lights on and the water flowing but we also use our resources to help people see God's love in action and catch a glimpse of what our world could be if we all loved as God loves us.
As we come to this time of offering, consider how you can be a part of this. Adding your financial resources and your time and abilities to help this congregation function and help us share the love of God.
Let's take up our offering.

Prayer:

Loving God, you have revealed to us the way to live our faith, especially revealing in the life of Jesus. Help us to give of ourselves and our resources so that the work we're doing can continue and people will see your love in us and in what we do. Bless this offering, that it can be used to share your love and do your work.
