Important information on our Web Ministry Seminar:
We've had to make some changes to our workshop this Saturday, May 4, 2013. Our workshop leader, Jim Eller, will be unable to join us due to having emergency gallbladder surgery the day before. We hope that you will join us in keeping Jim, Professor of Digital Media at United Theological Seminary, in our thoughts are prayers.
We have decided to go ahead with the workshop as scheduled, making adjustments for Jim's absence. The day promises to be a great time of exchanging news of how the digital culture is changing church, and learning how leaders in faith can use new digital age communication tools to tell the unchanging story of Jesus and his love.
One of the biggest changes in the workshop is we are now making it free of charge to all who attend. If you have already registered to attend in person ($25) or online ($15), we will be sending you a refund on Monday unless you notify us otherwise.
We hope you will pass the word along that our workshop is now free, and encourage others to join us. Our hopes are that novices as well as experienced online leaders will join us for a spirited morning of web ministry matters.
Instead of providing lunch, we'll offer refreshments and end the formal workshop at 12, with time for questions and chat continuing until 12:30 PM.
