Video #30 marks DisciplesNet's 6-month anniversary. We are still young and learning, and working to adapt our worship videos to be church for individuals who can't easily get to a physical church, for those who need that extra pick-me-up during the week, and for those who enjoy being part of a ministry that reaches across the globe.
DisciplesNet's worship #29 continues the Easter and resurrection story, picking up that first day as the risen Jesus accompanies his followers, who don't yet know who he is, as they are on the road to Emmaus. In her message, Pastor Audrey Borschel inspires the church to, like those early disciples, know the Christ in the breaking of the bread.
Today's scripture looks at the John 20:19-30 passage about the disciple Thomas, who missed out on seeing the risen Christ on Easter evening.
