12-Jan-25 (Luke 3:15-17, 21-22)

In the end of our scripture for today, God speaks from heaven and says, "This is my son, whom I love. I am well pleased with him."
We will probably never hear God speak from heaven, but we will experience the fact that we are all beloved of God in may ways.… Read the rest “Table Meditation (Gospel) for Baptism of the Lord C – 12-Jan-25”

DisciplesNet Worship #766 Christmas 2 – (Mullen 01.05.2025)

How do we keep Christmas in our hearts? One way is to remember the stories of Christmas. Pastor Mary Beth speaks to us from John 1:1-18 and helps us to remember how the stories of Christmas help us to remember the wonder of God coming into our world.
Join us for 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

DisciplesNet Worship #765 Christmas 1 – (Shaw 12.29.2024)

"A tiny baby, lying in a manger…" is the image we see of Jesus so much this time of year. And in worship this week, the first Sunday after Christmas Day, we celebrate the birth of Christ. We'll sing some of our favorite Christmas hymns and more. Yet Pastor Bob Shaw reminds us, in message based upon Luke 2:41-52, that we cannot leave Jesus in the manger. He became a man, and we need to let Jesus do that very thing in our minds and hearts. Our prayer is that this worship will be meaningful to you, with a chance to celebrate the birth of Christ as we grow into followers of Christ.
Join us for just over 28 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion.
