Of all the things you can do for God, what do you think is the most important? [Wait for answers]
Those are all good answers, but I think the most important one is doing things to help others. Jesus told a story about that.
He said that when we've help other people, especially the people other folks forget, it's as though we've helped Jesus himself. Jesus said that when we give someone who is hungry food, it's as though we've fed him. Jesus said that when we give someone who is thirsty water, it's as though we've given it to him. Jesus said that when we invited in strangers, when we visited people in prison, all of that was as if we'd done it for him. So just think. When you help others, especially those that other people forget about, it's like you're helping Jesus himself.
Let's talk to God about that.

God, we thank you that you love us and gave us Jesus to show us your love and to show us how to love others. Help us to help you; help us to share your love by helping others.
