Isaiah 42:1
Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights; I have put my spirit upon him; he will bring forth justice to the nations.

O God of mercy and justice;
When we are surrounded by evil
       and feel of no use,
Stir up your Spirit within us
     so that we have courage to change the world.
In the name of our Redeemer, Jesus.
