27-Jul-25 (Luke 11:1-13)

"Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven." We pray this, and, as with much of our prayers, we are also to be concerned with making it happen.
How do we do that? Well, we care for the sick and suffering. We visit those in prison and those who are forgotten. We help to meet the needs of those who don't have enough. We give graciously so that this work can be done by those who represent us and so people can learn about God's love for each and every one ib words and in actions.
Please consider your part in that as our deacons come to collect today's offering.

Prayer:

Please join me now in a spirit of prayer
God who loves each of us with perfect love, remind us of that love and, in the remembering, empower and impel us to share that love with the people we meet and the people we touch through the programs of the Church.
Bless these offerings as well, that they would see your will be done throughout the Earth.
