Who is my neighbor? We tend to think of our neighbor as someone like us who lives in the same community and has many of the same values that we have. Yet Jesus' story of the Samaritan who helped the man who was robbed and beaten on the road to Jericho tells us we need to look further. Rev. Dean Phelps talks to us from Luke 10:30-35 about this story and how Jesus calls us to a much wider idea of who our neighbors are.

When two oxen are yoked together and they're working together, they can do more and better work than simply combining the work of each. So it is when we are "yoked together with Jesus." But there's something even more. Jesus says, "Take my yoke upon you... for my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
