DisciplesNet Worship #810 Anniversary – (Shaw 11.09.2025)

To watch this worship service on YouTube, click here.

There was a time in Jesus' ministry when "He set his face on Jerusalem", knowing that he was going there, knowing that each thing he did from that point on moved closer. There are times in our lives when we have to set our faces toward what lies ahead in order to move toward it, often when that future isn't entirely mapped out. Pastor Bob speaks to us from Luke 9:51-62 about how Jesus set his mind on the future and how we too can move forward in faith.
This is also the 15th Anniversary of DisciplesNet and we celebrate those 15 years of ministry to people all over the world.
Join us for 29 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

DisciplesNet Worship #646: Proper 21 (Shaw 9.25.2022)

In a time when there is much talk about impending trouble, how do we of faith respond? Pastor Bob speaks to us about such a time in the life of Israel when trouble was certainly coming. Yet in that time, God directed Jeremiah to buy a field; to prepare for a better future, which God said would come. The scripture is Jeremiah 32:1-3a & 6-15 and the message is "A Time Will Come."
This worship service is just over 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a few favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water.
