The two brothers were among Jesus' closest disciples. Yet what James and John came asking Jesus turned out to be a most unpopular request. As soon as their words left their mouths, Jesus' heart may have sunk--they just didn't seem to be "getting it." So Jesus went on to teach them.  Our worship today looks at Jesus' message to them that day-- and it still  speaks to us these years later.   We are honored to have Reverend Charles H.
