God's creative power can turn even the worst of experiences into something good. Pastor Bob uses the story of Joseph forgiving his brothers for selling him into slavery in Genesis 45:1-15 to talk about how we can allow God to redeem even the worst parts of our lives.

As we celebrate the coming of Christ, the carols we sing often refer to Jesus as "the Prince of Peace." Yet we see in our world that peace is rare and fleeting. What does it mean that Jesus came as Prince of Peace and what kinds of peace does he bring? Pastor Russ uses Isaiah 9:2-7 to talk about the four ways that Jesus makes peace for us.
This Christmas service continues the theme of our Advent worship using the hymn "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel".
The theme for Christmas Day is taken from the seventh verse:
O come, desire of nations, bind
In one the hearts of all mankind
Bid Thou our sad divisions cease
and be thyself our King of peace
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel
