Forgiveness. Easy to say. Hard to do. Yet of all the things that Jesus tells us we should be doing, it is second only to love one another (and is a sign of just that. Pastor Anita speaks to us from Matthew 18:21-35 about how to give forgiveness the place it needs to have in our lives.
Our worship service is 30 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

We hope that as you join us for worship you will feel a blessing from being part. Please tell friends, family, and others you know about our online church that is here with doors that are always open, walls as wide as the world, and always room at the table.

Table Meditation (Gospel) for Proper 19a – 13-September-26

DisciplesNet

13-Sep-26 (Matthew 18:21-35)

Jesus says we're supposed to forgive wrongs done seventy-times-seven times.  In other words, too many times to keep count, so just don't keep count.  When we're living up to that standard, the Table, where we gather with those we've forgiven, being forgiven countless times ourselves, can be a place of joy and peace as we celebrate that nothing separates us.  … Read the rest “Table Meditation (Gospel) for Proper 19a – 13-September-26”
