The Old Testament lesson is the story of God calling Samuel during the night. Pastor Audrey speaks to us from 1 Samuel 3:1-10 about how God calls each of us and how we can answer the call.
Our worship service is just over 28 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion.
You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

We hope that as you join us for worship you will feel a blessing from being part. Please tell friends, family, and others you know about our online church that is here with doors that are always open, walls as wide as the world, and always room at the table.

Children’s Moment (Gospel) for Epiphany 2b – 14-January-24

DisciplesNet

14-Jan-24 (John 1:43-51)

What do you do when you learn about something really important? [wait for answers]
One thing I do is tell other people about it, especially if it's something really good.
In the gospel story for today, Jesus not only tells some of the people he knows about God's love, but he also asks them to help him to tell other people.… Read the rest “Children’s Moment (Gospel) for Epiphany 2b – 14-January-24”

The greatest gift the world has received came in the person of Jesus whom God sent to us to show us God's love in human form, to teach us how to live a life of faith in this world, and to show us how to love each other. Pastor Deb speaks to us from Matthew 2:1-12 about the coming of Jesus and how we can receive that gift and share it with others.
Our worship service is just over 27 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion.
