This where we gather with each other to pray, hear God’s word, and accept Christ’s invitation to the Table.

DisciplesNet Worship # 42, “Faith Confronts Fear,” (Borschel 08 07 11)

Audrey Borschel draws upon her life experiences to share a message of a living "Faith that Confronts Fear." Our scripture story is from Matthew 14:22-33, of the disciple Peter who sinks after trying to join Jesus in walking on the water.
Accompanying our worship are more special gifts: the opening hymn that is an inspiring favorite to so many, "Tú has venido a la orilla (Lord, You Have Come to the Lakeshore." Dean Phelps sat down and played this for us to record especially for our DisciplesNet family who are encouraged to sing along.
Also, we have new photos from professional photographer Dave Alexander of Emerald Coast Reflections, who has a special way of capturing the sense of God's presence in the grandeur of nature. We are extremely grateful to Dave for donating the use of his work, and encourage our viewers to visit his website at emeraldcoastreflections.com.
DisciplesNet minister, Rahul Nirmal offers a special gift, having gotten up in the very early hours of the morning from his home in India to help us record during our studio worship hours.
And there's more…but for now, our leaders hope that you will be blessed and encouraged by attending worship this morning.
Peace and grace to you.

DisciplesNet Worship # 41, “They Need Not Go Away” (Shaw 07 31 11)

DisciplesNet

"They Need Not Go Away" is a lasting image in today's message from Rev. Bob Shaw on the text of Matthew 14:13-21, the "feeding of the 5000 men, plus women and children." We hope this brings you a sense of welcome before the Lord, too, with a sense that Christ calls us all together in this time, and many of us, here on the internet, to DisciplesNet Church.

DisciplesNet Worship # 40, “Who Shall Deliver Me?” (Allen 07 24 11)

DisciplesNet

Rev. Dr. Ronald Allen brings alive the story of Paul and Silas thrown into jail after doing what they believed was right on behalf of a slave girl. Dr. Allen uses his extensive knowledge of the New Testament and the book of Acts to shed light on some of the story's details, then encourages listeners to take heart from what happens next with Paul and Silas.

DisciplesNet Worship # 39, “Finding Your Place” (Edwards 07 17 11)

DisciplesNet

Our DisciplesNet Worship #39 offers a special gift in Minister Blanche Edwards' sharing of the story of a young girl who grew up struggling against the life challenges of homelessness. As you hear the story unfold, we pray that you will gain strength and inspiration in finding God's leading for you in the places in your own life you may feel homeless, lost, or needing direction.… Read the rest “DisciplesNet Worship # 39, “Finding Your Place” (Edwards 07 17 11)”

DisciplesNet Worship # 37, “The Sacrifice” (Shaw 06 26 11)

DisciplesNet

DisciplesNet Worship #37 takes a look at sacrifice through the lens of Abraham, who has been called upon by God to sacrifice his only son in Genesis 28:1-18. DisciplesNet pastor Bob Shaw brings an inspiring perspective to this difficult scripture.

DisciplesNet Worship # 36, “Telling the Old, Old Story” (Phelps 06 19 11)

DisciplesNet

Today's worship looks at telling the old, old story in new ways, extending the nets in a way that can cover the world. For this, we look at the scripture in Matthew 28:16-20 where Jesus' gives the "Great Commission" and the apostle Paul's image of the body of Christ in 1 Corinthians 12:12-28.

DisciplesNet Worship # 34 The Gift of Pentecost

DisciplesNet

Welcome to "The Gift of Pentecostt," a special 10-minute offering for you in celebration of Pentecost and the birthday of the church. This has been created by the leadership of DisciplesNet Church for our DisciplesNet members and friends around the world, and for all others who would be blessed in sharing the reminders of the special gift of wholeness that first came to the disciples at Pentecost.

DisciplesNet Worship # 33, Sowers’ Soils,” (Allen, 06-05-11)

DisciplesNet

For today's worship we bring back guest preacher and professor, Rev. Dr. Ronald Allen , with the teaching sermon on the parable of the soil in Mark 4:1-20. Dr. Allen looks at the question, "What do you do when you have given your best and things haven't worked out as you planned?"
