DisciplesNet Worship #745 Proper 14 – (Borschel 8.11.2024)

To watch this worship service on YouTube, click here.

Jesus often challenged people with his teachings. Some were hard to hear and hard to follow. Pastor Audrey speaks to us from Ephesians 4:25-5:1 and John 6:35,41-51 about some of those hard teachings and helps us to understand how important it is to follow Jesus, especially when it's hard to do.
Join us for just over 29 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

DisciplesNet Worship #670: Lent 2 – (Shaw 3.05.2023)

We continue our emphasis in this season of Lent on stumbling blocks, those obstacles in our path of life that will cause us to stumble and maybe fall. Today Pastor Bob looks at the story of Jesus meeting Nicodemus at night and shows us how seeking to safely put our faith in place in our lives will cause us to stumble, how our faith must be the organizing principle of our lives.
Our worship service is just under 30 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion.
