DisciplesNet

This has been a rough time around the world, with violence and unrest seeming to be in every direction…and we hear people crying out to God, "How long, O Lord, how long?" But what comes next?

Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen

In May 2011, two of DisciplesNet's favorite song providers, Rev. Dr. Twana A. Harris and Rev. Dean Phelps, came to our DisciplesNet studio to let us record them singing some favorites that we thought would bring a lift to our audience.

We hope you will enjoy hearing their special blend of  voices on this African American spiritual, "Nobody Knows The Trouble I've Seen."
At the end of the song, stay tuned for part of Psalm 61 and a brief prayer for your journey.

The piano music is the gift of Beverly Carmichael Heid, who learned piano as a way of coping with serious illness. Since then, Bev has been playing her music for others, bringing that same sense of hope, comfort, and rest for times of trouble and weariness.
We hope that you are blessed by this video and will share it with others.
