When God told Jonah to go to Ninevah to warn them of their sinful ways, Jonah set out quickly—in the opposite direction. You see, Jonah wasn’t too keen on God showing mercy to Jonah’s enemies. And sometimes it is us in our times to see “the others” in our lives as God asks us to see them. In our worship today we will be working through some of these ideas, and praying, singing, thinking about God’s care for others, and God’s care for others through us.
