Forgiveness. Easy to say. Hard to do. Yet of all the things that Jesus tells us we should be doing, it is second only to love one another (and is a sign of just that. Pastor Anita speaks to us from Matthew 18:21-35 about how to give forgiveness the place it needs to have in our lives.
Our worship service is 30 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

We hope that as you join us for worship you will feel a blessing from being part. Please tell friends, family, and others you know about our online church that is here with doors that are always open, walls as wide as the world, and always room at the table.

DisciplesNet Worship #808 Proper 25 – (Smith 10.26.2025)

To watch this worship service on YouTube, click here.

Jesus told the story of a Pharisee and a tax collector who approach God in very different ways. In the story, the Pharisee is brash and proudly recites to God all the things he's done. The tax collector, in the other hand, doesn't even look up toward heaven, but simply says, "Lord, have mercy upon me, a sinner." Pastor Russ speaks to us form Luke 18:9-14 about this story and helps us to see why humility is the only way to truly approach God while assuring us that God will indeed have mercy on us.
Join us for just over 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." DisciplesNet Worship #378 “Reluctant Obedience (Shaw 09.24.2017)

When God told Jonah to go to Ninevah to warn them of their sinful ways, Jonah set out quickly—in the opposite direction. You see, Jonah wasn’t too keen on God showing mercy to Jonah’s enemies. And sometimes it is us in our times to see “the others” in our lives as God asks us to see them. In our worship today we will be working through some of these ideas, and praying, singing, thinking about God’s care for others, and God’s care for others through us. We hope that you will join us in our 28 minute worship, 28 minutes of prayer, scripture, song, and inspiring message from Pastor Bob, speaking from Jonah 3:10-4:11. Continue reading →
