People can get into trouble for not following the rules.... but sometimes God calls us to do just that.   When to know the difference?   We hope you will join us for worship this week and find out, with a message and worship based upon Luke 10:25-37; the story of the "Good Samaritan."  Our sermon is the first by our student minister, Ann Munsterman, who we are so pleased to have working with us.
Join us for just under 29 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

We live in a world that still struggles with attitudes that some persons are inherently better or more disserving than others. How long will we have to wrestle with this particular problem. Dr. Timothy James speaks to us based on Luke 10:17-20 a message of hope that the day will come when that demon is laid to rest. He shows us that it's worth the struggle and the continued hope.
Join us for just over 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." 6-Jul-25 (Luke 10:1-11)

Have you ever heard the word "ambassador"? Do you know what it means? Usually, an ambassador is a person who is chosen to represent a country while living in another country. When I say represent, I mean that, in many ways, the people of the country where the ambassador lives think of them as an example of how the people in the country the ambassador represents think and act.… Read the rest “Children’s Moment for Proper C9 – 6-Jul-25”

Being a disciple takes a singular focus, following Jesus and not being distracted by the things of this world. It not easy, but Jesus himself gave us the great example, turning toward Jerusalem, knowing what it would cost him and facing it anyway. Pastor Bob speaks to us from Luke 9:51-62 and helps us to understand this example for when we must face our own costly times.
Join us for 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion.
