Throughout our lives there are many times of trial and suffering. We know that God is not the cause of that suffering, but we can also be sure that God will help us through those times and make us stronger for having endured them.
Pastor Deb speaks to us from 2 Corinthians 12:2-10 about experiencing strength in weakness and becoming "broken strong."
Join us for 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

The Church refers to the time between Pentecost and Advent as "Ordinary Time," but, as Pastor Mary Beth points out, it's actually quite extraordinary to think that God is ever-present in this time and especially present when things get rough. Pastor Mary Beth speaks to us from Mark 5:21-43 about God's remarkable presence and how our faith can carry us through ordinary time and difficult time.
Join us for 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. Even when we're exactly where God wants us to be, sometimes we encounter trouble. The disciples had followed Jesus' request to take the boats across the Sea of Galilee and they encountered a major storm. The disciples were rightfully afraid, but Jesus rebuked the storm and calmed the sea.
What can we learn from this when we face the storms in our own lives? Pastor Bob speaks to us from Job 38:1-11 and Mark 4:35-41 and shows us how we can count on Jesus to help us through these times of trouble.
Join us for just under 30 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion.
