Not all of us are called to preach, but all of us are called to share what we know of God's love for all people. Sometimes that call on us is, as Jeremiah 20-7-13 describes it, like a fire within our bones that cannot be denied. Pastor Bob helps us understand that urgent call on us and how we can respond to it.
Join us for just over 30 minutes of prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, preaching as well as communion. You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." DisciplesNet Worship #525: Proper 6 (Smith 06.14.2020)

To watch this worship service on YouTube, click here.

"Look at the fields. They are ripe with harvest." Jesus told his disciples. That was true in their time, and Pastor Russ shows us that many of the same types of things that made that time just right for the disciples to go and share the Good News are also true of our own time. Even in a time of pandemic and raw aggression. The call from Matthew 9:35-38 still holds for those of us who are Jesus' disciples.
Join us for 30 minutes of prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, preaching as well as communion. You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." Jesus told his disciples to "go into all the world." and throughout the 2000 years of Church history, disciples have done just that. But how can we do that in an era where pandemic and prejudice keep us apart? Pastor Deb talks about the "Great Commission" in Matthew 28:16-20 and helps us see the unique ways we can be Church in our times and places.
Join us for 31 minutes of prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, preaching as well as communion.
