To watch this worship service on YouTube, click here.

DisciplesNet invites you to join us now for a challenging message about hospitality from pastor Audrey, preaching from the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-42.
Join us for 29 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

Much of the Christian life is about service to others, but what of those times when our desire to serve becomes simple busyness? When does busyness rob us of the very engagement we are seeking to have? Pastor Anita speaks to us from Luke 10:38-42, the story of Mary and Martha, to help us to recognize our need to sit at Jesus' feet and listen.
This worship service is 28 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a few favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." Martha doesn't get the credit her sister Mary gets. It's true that Mary chose the better path as Jesus said, but does that mean we reject Martha's "getting the work done for hospitality's sake" entirely. Rev. Dean Phelps takes us through the account in Luke 10:38-42 and shows us why we might respect Martha's way quite a bit more.
