Change is a constant element in our lives, but some of those changes are transformations. We're simply not the person we were before the changes took place. Pastor Anita speaks to us from Acts 9:1-6 about the transformation of Saul to Paul the Apostle and helps us to see how God can use our gifts and abilities in God's work in the world.
Join us for just over 29 minutes of worship, prayer, scripture, a number of favorite hymns, and communion. You may choose to participate or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water. As we pray, our prayers extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, you may want to use a symbolic gesture or mental symbol as you come together at this table of remembrance with us.

What does it mean to encounter the risen Christ? There are many stories of such encounters in our New Testament. Pastor Rahul takes us through several of these stories, including John 21:1-19 and helps us understand how we can encounter the risen Christ in our lives today.
Our worship service is 30 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion.

DisciplesNet Worship #675: Easter Sunday – (Smith 4.9.2023)

To watch this worship service on YouTube, click here.

One of the most common images of Easter is the tomb with the stone rolled away. While this points toward the questions that Easter raises, it does not really provide the answer to what changed for the disciples to propel them out of their hiding to become bold witnesses. Witnesses to what? Not just the empty tomb, but the experiences of the risen, living Lord.
Pastor Russ speaks to us from John 20:1-18 about how the real miracle of Easter, for those disciples and for us, is the encounter with our risen, living Lord.
Our worship service just over 30 minutes of prayer, some favorite hymns, teaching, and communion.
You may choose to participate, or simply meditate as we tell of Jesus' invitation to "do this in remembrance of me." If you would like to share with us at the table that goes beyond earthly boundaries of time, place, and structure, we ask that you prepare a piece of bread of some type and a drink such as grape juice, wine, or water.
