Here’s a gift for you from DisciplesNet Church. We present the Christmas story in scripture and pictures, followed by a lighting of the Christ Candle on the Advent wreath and the Hallelujah chorus. We hope you will enjoy it on Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day, as a way of touching the true meaning of Christmas. Continue reading →

We invite you to join us in the uplifting song, "On Eagles Wings." This is sung by two pastor-musicians, Twana Harris and Dean Phelps, who came to our DIsicplesNet studio to sing hymns and spiritual songs for our DisciplesNet audience around the world. We hope that you will be uplifted in listening, and singing along if you would like. After the song you will find the scripture reading that the song was written about: Isaiah 40:28-31.
This video has a special Dedication to persons struggling in the aftermath of the May 2013 tornadoes in Oklahoma as this video was being created, as well as all others who are dealing with the storms of life.
DisciplesNet is an online church and ministry that reaches out using the internet, crossing barriers and boundaries to share the Good News of God's love. We believe that God's love is for all people without exception, including people who may not be able to be part of a traditional church. We are learning as we go, and appreciate your patience in the places where our videos are not perfect.
It is our prayer that you are uplifted by watching the video and will share it with any you know who could benefit from seeing it.

This is a paraphrase of the 23rd Psalm, intended especially for meditation when you are feeling lost. It was written by Peggy McMahon and appears in her book, Father, Hear My Psalms. The music is "Day by Day", written by Karolina Sandell-Berg in 1865 and arranged and played by Beverly Carmichael Heid.
The words are these:
The Lord is my pathfinder, I shall not lose my way.
He makes me lie down in meadows of summer bloom;
He leads me to still waters where I drink from his cup.
He restores me in purpose; He leads me to find meaning
in the smallest of offerings.
Yea, though I walk through the canyon of deepest dark,
I am not lost.
For the light of your heart's love is never extinguished,
Your nearness is never absent.
You prepare a sanctuary for me in the deep of the canyon walls,
I receive your true Word.
You anoint my head with belongingness,
my heart entrains to the pulse of Your heavenly voice.
I hear You call my name and I shall answer.
Surely all courage and direction shall be with me
all the days of my life;
And I shall dwell in the presence of the Lord forever.

We invite you to join us this Christmas for this week's worship, with a special message of hope from our Senior Pastor, "The Story Continues." Our worship was especially created with the understanding that while some of our listeners may experience this holiday season as "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," as the song goes, for others, it is the opposite, perhaps a very painful time. Whether you are one full of joy, sorrow, or a combination this season, this worship is for you.
Our worship features special scripture of prophecy, and includes the Christmas story from the Gospel of Luke, read by our leadership team. Additionally, we offer inspiring special music by the duo Dean Phelps and Twana Harris, with Christmas favorites we've created for you to sing along with, if you'd like. Beverly Heid provides the background music for our readings.
Today we also light the fourth advent candle, If you have one at home, you may like to light yours while you follow along in scripture and music.
Our worship also includes a time of communion (breaking of the bread)--for which we extend the invitation given by Jesus Christ to all who would come. If you would like to share with us in this time at the table that passes all boundaries of place, time, and walls, then we ask that you prepare a wafer, cracker, or bread and a drink, and we ask that our blessing will extend to where you are. If you are unable to eat or drink, use a symbolic gesture or mental symbols of joining with us. (Scroll down for an Order of Worship) Continue reading →
